SUMMER 2010 Bird ID Thread

I've been calling this a female ruby-throated hb, but I'm coming more to the conclusion that it is a male and that I'm just not catching the light right to see all of the throat color. Correct? Also, any ideas on how to capture the red? TIA, Terry

definately a male due to the thoat. The red comes from a reflexion of light, so natural lighting angle or flash angle is key to bringing out the red gorget.
