    Starved Rock Wildflowers

    Lots of wildflowers blooming this weekend. There were blankets of Bluebells. The pictures don't do them justice.

    Very nice variety of florals. I especially like the Bishop's Cap, what a unique flower! Spring is very slow-started around here, but am just starting to see some wildflowers blooming.

    Cara, these are beautiful! Your pics of the bluebells are like deja vu for me...there have been blankets of them over at Bull Run park near where I live - just like in your pics, and I was thinking you were from around here too, until I saw your location! They're amazing, aren't they?

    My mom and I had never seen a carpet of bluebells like that before.They were amazing

    Lovely shots, I went for a walk yesterday but it is still too early up here for any wildflowers.
