    Star Birds

    What to do????

I am having a hard time finding stuff to photograph at night. First of all I guess I should bring my tripod to work. Trying to capture the stars without one gave me this... "Star Birds" LOL
(Honestly... it was a beautiful night sky.)

The shot of the moon is actually 2 shots combined. I took one of the moon for proper exposure and then one of some nicely lit clouds right under it.

Anyone have any ideas on what I could shoot at night? I really don't like my new overnight shift. :cryin:

Wide angle lens, point to the stars and set shutter to open for 1 hours. You will get some cool star streaks in the sky! I also find shooting airplanes in the dark of night will leave some cool streaks of colors from the airplanes lights.
Tri-pod required for all of the above.
    My 2 cents!

p.s....nice shot of the moon with the clouds!

    Re: Star Birds

    Hey,
From what little I have learned about different birds of prey, birds are very "stress" sensitive. They can die withing a matter of seconds, or just a minute or two after going into shock. I think you proll'y scared it.

    Thanks.
