    Squirrel on Pot

    What were you expecting

Sorry, folks - still having fun just around the house. Since we now have more squirrels than birds, I figured "if you can't beat 'em ..."

I put peanuts in an empty pot in preparation for amusing shots once snow arrives. It took these guys about, oh let's see, about 5 minutes to become trained

    Re: Squirrel on Pot

Thanks for the kind words! Not much of a challenge though. Bev, one in particular seems more tame than the others and I would not doubt that he/she could be hand fed soon. But I'll let someone else's finger risk it

As I'm laying on my back (or at least my hips) to shoot these by simply sliding the back door when one approaches, there have been times that one has sneaked up close to me while I'm shooting another. I think one will jump on my head one day and run into the house.

This is from a series that I was compiling. As with all my "series", these are not true series - just different moments strung together to look like it. Used my 70-200mm which I haven't picked up in quite some time.
