    Spotted Wood Quail (Costa Rica)

    I was pretty stoked to get an opportunity to photograph this species in the highland of Costa Rica recently. I had only ever photographed one other Wood Quail in Ecuador so this was a real treat. I even shot some videos (see link below).

    They're such a beautiful animal. How long did you have to wait before you saw/hear one? They're so small, I imagine it was pretty difficult to see them!
