Seen near the CREW Marsh hiking trails in Collier County, FL in late June.

your shots are always species I haven't seen before. tell us a bit about how you find them, why you find them, or anything else that might be interesting - it seems that half of the posts in the N&W forum have a great backstory. And since I know virtually nothing about the species, it would help me appreciate it all the more!

While birds are my thing, who couldn't like a flower? Very nice image as always of a species I never knew was out there.
