    A Spider's Web

I'm always intrigued by these things. We all see them all the time everywhere. But finding a photogenic one with good lighting and non-distracting background can be a challenge.

I didn't do this one justice as I didn't have a tripod to get more DOF and sharper dew drops. But I couldn't resist as the web was undisturbed and I was waiting for birds anyway

Loupey, I'm so jealous of you lately, put your camera down and let me catch up! Nice shot.

    Re: A Spider's Web

Thanks everyone for the generous comments. I still think the DOF is too shallow but perhaps I'm being overly critical. The stats on this one:

    10D with 70-200
    200mm with Extension Tubes
    ISO 100
    1/125 S
    F/9.5

Hand-holding, I didn't want to go any slower yet I didn't want to bump up the ISO. I think it is the unusual perspective (looking from underneath) that gives it a little more impact.

How perfect it would have been if the little creature which created this piece of art was on the web! I will go back (with tripod) and see what I can get.
