South Dakota birders?!?!?

Hello folks,

It has been forever since I have posted. I just got married and that has taken all of my time. I honeymooned in Costa Rica and promise I'll post a few of my shots.

My parents recently acquired a house in South Dakota... 3 miles from Custer State Park. What are some "must see" birds to be on the lookout for when I visit? Hot spots?

I've spent a little time in the area in the winter, mostly at Custer Park. Be on the lookout for Bald and Golden Eagles, was well as a variety of hawks and harriers. In the grasslands, generally where you see antelope, watch for grouse. In the timber, you will find Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers, as well as White and Red Breasted Nuthatches. Northern Flickers and Grey Jays will probably be fairly common also.
