When Dawn got up on the morning of the 23rd, she let Thunder in the house. Later, I let him out to do his business and I saw these footprints. That's frost on the deck, and yes, my wife went out in her bare feet. What can I say? She's a country girl.

I'm sure she was! She hates being cold, but she's constantly running aroung the house barefoot. She's 100% G.R.I.T.S.

Did I also mention her favortie gun is the .44 Magnum? Wouldn't even shoot the .357 magnum. Said it looked too "wimpy"! God I love this woman!!!

Hehehe. She's a sweetheart. But I do like knowing that she can take care of herself. Self defense is her favorite, and she is very good at it. Maybe being a Nurse Practitioner has something to do with that, or maybe she's just got a sadistic streak in her.

We started taking karate three and a half years ago, and in June we go up for our black belts. Testing usually lasts 8 to 10 hours, and we are expecting 7 or 8 Master Ranking Black Belts to show up for this. Translation, we expect 7 or 8 black belts to take turns beating up on us. It is going to be a very exhausting day. It was also noted a couple of weeks ago that we will be the first married couple to get our black belts together in our system. Never expected to be a groundbreaker...

BTW...My youngest brother was one belt from BLACK 10 years ago and he got knocked out with one punch in a arguement with two people ;) I took care of the light work after that(no unholstering needed either). He decided to stop persuing the black belt after the studio closed shortly after that.

So the moral is...

It isn't the size of the man (or woman) in the fight, but the size of the fight in the man(or woman). I have a brown belt and 2 black belts, but usually my pants fit without a belt

The blue tone definitely adds a "cool" dimension to the shot. Which is part of what I like about it.
