Good captures , is that white stuff i C in the background lol we got some about 25 Km from here . Snow is early for us this year

Nice captures! Have you tried to open up the shadows/ levels to get eye detail?

Thanks paulnj, no I played a bit with contrast and brightening and light sharpening but thats about it.

opening the shadows 10% and a slight curves adjustment will bring the eye out a bit more.

I use fill flash(-1ev or so) on my subjects to seperate the eye and add a catch light.
