    Some of my daily visitors

Here are some quite common garden birds, apart from the first image the Goldfinch, which has taken me weeks to tempt in the garden, they were on the decline here until people have started putting out goldfinch food, the next is the great blue tit, and the tird and fourth the female blackbird.

Bev, I'm still impressed how you can catch birds just after they take flight. My recent attempts with Red Winged Blackbirds just show a branch with some tailfeathers sticking out the side of the frame

Interesting to me how different species look across the world. Had I guessed, I would have called the goldfinch some sort of woodpecker - or a cross between a downy woodpecker and a goldfinch!

Well spotted Paul about the Blue tit, i was just testing you............no cant lie, i made a boo boo there. I am also amazed at the difference between various species from country to country and some are very different in size, colour etc, but thats what makes it so interesting.
