Some Images from the Past 15 Months

This weekend I just got around to processing the images on my memory card that have been untouched for over a year. I got to get back into this...

These are from The Garden of the Gods, Colorado:

These are from Northern Ohio last spring during the migration....

Well with the exception of the snake - I don't think he was migrating very far/fast. Same place though!

These are from the Hocking Hills region in southern Ohio....

The EXIF data on the interior shots will say "50mm" but they were actually shot with a manual 14mm lens (when no lens data is received by the camera, it says 50mm by default).

These were shot on my deck while I was eating dinner last summer. Same bird. Not the best backgrounds and I don't like the hot bottom right corner either...

That's all for now. It's been so long since I posted anything that I'm embarrassed to say I don't even know what the limits are on posting (how many pictures at once, kb limit, pixel size). And I "work" here lol!

I hope the colors look ok. I just bought a new laptop and the colors look a little funky on this new machine.

Sorry it took me so many months to find this thread. I've really missed seeing your work, thanks for posting. The Hocking Hills shots are probably my favorite here, but your bird portraits are always great!

This past weekend I finally took my camera on a hike to some local parks. Seems getting back into photography has been really difficult to do for some reason or another. Always in a hurry. Always something else that needs attention. Etc. Etc....

Anyway, these were all shot with my trusty 300mm. First three at or near the minimum focusing distance. The last one with 2 extension tubes (20mm and 36mm). That tree frog could have fit on the end of my thumb.

I know - nothing earthshattering - but thanks for looking!
