Some feeder birds

I went out to a friends sisters house to take some photos of her horsed. Shooting dark brown and black horses in the snow wasn't working out so great, and my attention was easily diverted by the activity at her bird feeders. They didn't seem to be bothered by me being there at all. I even had to back up, because I was too close for my lens to focus. The min focusing distance in 9.8 feet.

Hay Burners lol first time i hear that one Good series Mike , are the Tufted Titmouse's something like the Chichadees behavior wise ?

This was my first, maybe second time seeing a tufted titmouse, so I don't know much about their behavior. I can tell you that at the feeder, they were very much like the chickadees. They would come in, grab a seed, and take off, just like the chickadees. Any little movement, and they would retreat to the tree for cover.

Tufted titmouse do indeed flutter tree to tree just like chickadees do. They do sit still longer sometimes though, which is always nice.
