I went out to a friends sisters house to take some photos of her horsed. Shooting dark brown and black horses in the snow wasn't working out so great, and my attention was easily diverted by the activity at her bird feeders. They didn't seem to be bothered by me being there at all. I even had to back up, because I was too close for my lens to focus. The min focusing distance in 9.8 feet.
