I am gradually working my way through the images that I took during my trip to Florida last November. It is so cold and snowy here in the Great White West that I have some time to edit up some images to share. These are a small selection of my Egret Images from Viera and Titusville, very little editing done to them - cropping, some colour correction, although I suspect they could use a bit of sharpening and maybe some more colour adjustment. I find it a little hard to go from editing the full blown image to trying to figure what it might look like when it is compressed for web display. These were shot as raw images using my 5D and a100-400 mm L IS mostly at 400 mm.

1. Titusville Wetlands - Snowy Egret - I don't think I realized these guys would hang out in the "trees" like this.

2. Titusville Wetlands - Juvenile Little Blue Heron - hunting in the "soup"

3. Viera Wetlands - Great Egret - going for a walk on the road ("let's see now, where was that pond anyway")

4. Viera Wetlands - Great Egret in flight

More to come - unless it warms up and then it is outside with the camera gear - need to test out my new converters and a few other things before going to Africa in May.

Cheers,
