Snow geese

Found two snow geese in a small flock of Canada geese flying by. Taken on yesterday (Sep 4). Was told usually the snow geese show up starting mid-Sep or later.




Don't know how they manage to blend in with a group of Canada geese

Also, some told me the white goose on the right is a Ross's goose. What say you?

That's a toss up as the size diffence doesn't appear that different to me. Ross's have far smaller body mass and shorter necks. The wing span is still pretty close though.

That could just be perspective.
