    Snow Buntings

I went back to the harbor this afternoon to look for more ducks, I found these snow buntings much more interesting. The lighting was crummy and fading fast, I hope these are not too dark.

I edited my first posting of them because I didn't like the black border.

    Thank you for looking.

You have to pretend that you are not looking at them when you try to get closer, lol. If I moved toward them while I was watching them they would take off, if I acted like I didn't see them... they would stay They look really neat when they are flying together.

Here's one which isn't cropped. I only cropped them because they were all too centered like this one.

Very cute birds! I've not seen those before.

Copy, when you manual focus, you can place the subject off-center

I always find snow buntings to be a very uncooperative subject! Those things will never get into perfect light and pose nicely

    Nice find there!

It was another one of those times when I knew I was doing something wrong and did it anyway... I hate when I do that :mad2:
