    What a great catch! I do not think I've ever seen a sparrow do that before.

    The blossoms really add to your already beautiful birds Bev, I can't wait until we get some here.

    Smelling sweet!

    Just a couple more of the tree sparrow with the blossom, it looks like she was smelling it but the truth was she was eating the inside of it!.

    Ooops sorry Paulnj, yes its a house sparrow, i actually dont get tree sparrows in my garden, although they are about.

    Thanks Knight and Copy, im having to make the most of the blossom as its all starting to come off now, and its turned so cold here some parts have even had snow over night, i only hope that the past two weeks of lovely weather was'nt our spring!!
