I rather like the uncropped image - the wooden beams give it a cool "artsy" touch
As for the bird - what is it? It looks like a cross between our coopers hawk and a mourning dove. You are not allowed to leave your big lenses home anymore
It's a dove of some sort.
But it's not a Collared dove or Turtle dove according to my book.
Both have white under the tail and this has dark grey
So I suspect it's not a natural wild dove, because the only one in my book that looks like this is the Rufous Turtle dove which is a rare Asian visitor and is larger than a common turtle dove (fits) and has a grey, not white edge to the tail (fits).
I am more inclined to say it's a cross of wild & ornamental (perhaps Barbary dove) rather than rare !
The first shot was what I intended, the dove was a bonus on top of the tree
