    Kind of creeps me out a little. Some kind of seed pod? The composition is excellent with the oddball "seed" with the dark around it drawing your eye.

    Eric, Paul, Cara - thanks for commenting.

    Cara, you nailed it. You actually have a shot of one in image #13 of your water lily at the botanical gardens set. Those pods look just like plastic hose sprayers from the side.

    Here's shot #1. Desided to investigate it more thoroughly after shooting this.
