scary silouette

i took this on my cousins back porch in Kona Hawaii. i love the detail in the spiders leg hairs and web. what do you guy think of it? what could i change to make it better?

Sorry I missed this, but 46 hours of work in 4 days leaves me quite tired and I miss posts.Those out of focus bg elements(dark) distract quite a bit and the blue is also distracting. Great silouette though! Might I suggest a bit more sharpening?

thanks paul for the reply, i sharpened it and it looks much better, i'm not good enough to edit out the out of focus leaves, but i kind of like them, i'd like to see what it looks like w/o though to.


and how does the blue distract? its the actual color of the sky in hawaii :-) not even sure if i used a polarizer or not.

Well, I am not a fan of editing out parts of an image, so I don't suggest that myself. The file to me looks to have a blue cast and I have never seen a sky that blue
