    SawTooth National Forest Recreation Area Photoshoot: Oct. 3rd to the 5th. 2008 FREE!

    SawTooth National Forest Recreation Area Photoshoot: October 3,2008 to October 5,2008. FREE!!
    I will be back in Twin Falls, Idaho from October 2,2008 to October 6,2008. I will be traveling up to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area to photograph some of their lakes and wilderness from Oct. 3rd. to the 5th. Experianced and inexperianced photographers welcome. I will be hiking short day hikes nothing to strenuous to some lake locations then back to the hotel by nightfall. I will explain some of the basics to the more advanced techniques in landscape photography depending on your skill level. I will also be going over some editing techniques in Adobe Photoshop/CS2 back at the hotel.
    To insure I can give quality instruction, I will be limiting the photoshoot to 4 openings. Travel, lodging, and food will not be provided. I will not charge a dime for my services/instruction. Yes, it is absoulutely FREE!!     Scedule: (Hotel undecided at this point)
    Day 1 Oct,3rd: Early morning instruction on basic camera operation and understanding light then more indepth instruction on camera techniques while in the field. (The use of Depth of Filed, apetures and shutter speeds, lenses, composition, and filters etc.) - Short break- We will then leave to lake location (Alpine Lake) for short 3.3 mile hike where we will set up and I will then give one on one instruction in the field while we are waiting for the sun to set for that spectacular sunset shot. Alpine Lake Stats: 3.3 miles, 1200' elevation gain, 100' loss, high point 7900'.
    Day 2 Oct,4th: The early bird gets the worm roadside sunrise wilderness shoot. (No hiking) Then back to hotel where we will download images to our laptops and I will then go over techniques on Adobe Photoshop/CS2 and editing techniques to achieving that award winning image that you will be proud to hang in any art gallery. Then Back to your rooms to rest up for day 3.
    Day 3 Oct,5th: Oh Boy hope your rested up longer hike today shoot... We will meet up in lobby hotel around 8:00a.m. then off to staging area for a little longer hike to Sawtooth Lake. This will be a late afternoon shoot where we will shoot the late afternoon golden light then back to staging area before sun goes down so were not hiking in the pitch of black. This will conclude the SawTooth National Recreation Photoshoot. Sawtooth Lake Stats: 4 miles, 1720' elevation gain, high point 8430'.
    *Hotel will be decided once I have filled the first slot.
    *Don't forget your water and comfortable hiking shoes.
    *Don't forget the laptop, if you have one.
    *Travel, Hotel, and Food will not be provided.
    *Absoulutely NO refunds!! Just kidding silly, it's FREE!!
