    Rough day

The goldfinch is from yesterday and everything else is from today. It was a rough day… too windy, light kept changing, and it was super hard to compose anything.

edit- the RBG came back so today wasn't a total loss

    Thank you for looking

    Re: Rough day

Gee CK I wish my bad day today was half as good as your was lol. I had the same issues with the wind. Everytime I tried Macro shots the wind picked up and my subject either began to blow around.. or just blew away outright. You did an awesome job all tings considered. Nice RBG shot to cap it off too.

That grosbeak is a winner. I like the spider too. Doesn't look like a rough day to me

    Re: Rough day

Thank you Jaedon, Knight, and Loupey.

It was a rough day because I set out to take some images of wild flowers for this months photo project, and to experiment with my on-camera flash (the wind was just too strong).

LOL, thanks Payn. Just before I took that image the spider jumped in my direction while I was focusing... I almost fell over backwards... scared the @@@@ out of me.
