    Roseatte Spoonbill Series

    Here are a few I've shot over the past few months of an unusual species you don't find in many places. They are making a good comeback from the brink of extinction. They are here year round, but more abundant during the fall/early winter. The last shot is an experimental crop I've been playing with of a flight shot taken in early morning light.

    Nice series, and a great subject. I have seen only 2, and both were in captivity.

    Nice job here, I like the first wing stretch and the last one the best.

    Thanks for fixing the title Paul. Sunday fingers, and a ton of PP to do.

    Here's a better view of that last shot. The long, horizontal crop doesn't really give you much to work with when posting to forums. Hope this one looks better:
