    Ripley's Aquarium in TN

Took a trip to Gatlinburg last weekend and had to pop into the aquarium. We've got that huge new aquarium in Atlanta but this one has enough differences to make the trip worth it. It's a really nice aquarium and I highly recommend going.

You know, I have no idea how there are clouds in that shot. I thought that was interesting when I was reviewing it as well.

LOL, the top of the aquarium is open. I did notice one thing though, you may want to try to get rid of the strip right above the fin. Once I noticed it, it stuck out bad.

I may have to go there, if you like it after the ATL aquarium, it must be nice.

Now these are some very nice images. I have never tried to photograph fish in an aquarium... yet

Ah, good point about that strip, thanks! I don't know if the top over this part of the aquarium is open or not because like the one in Atlanta, you go through a tunnel through the tank. It winds around a bit and the only place I remember seeing the open top is above the main atrium. I'll have to pay much more attention when I go back. I do enjoy the one here though as well. I've been there a few times already but I don't like how they didn't bother to hide the building structure behind the exhibits so there are yellow beams in many of those pictures I took.

I really like #6 too. It remindes me of one of those images that someone photoshoped and morphed from several images, into one. Almost like you combined a human face onto the underside of a jet, and then added a saw coming out of the head. Verry cool looking!!! No, I'm not on drugs.

Nice! I too like that sawfish shot - it looks like a crazy cartoon character straight off Spongebob! You should really post a copy into Payn's "humorous" thread.

I also like the jellyfish shot. The blues and oranges work terrific there.

I know shooting through glass isn't always easy, you did great.

Wow! Some great shots here sure not you run of the mill fish pics. Nice job overcoming the challenges of shooting through thick glass and all the reflection and other distractions. You even got the subjects to strike good poses for you. This is another thing I'll have to put on my to do list.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
