    Red Tailed Hawk

Finally bought a decent lens last week (Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM). I found this guy posted in a tree and then I chased him to a pole where he briefly stopped to laugh at me.. This was hand held at full zoom 200mm and then cropped. MUCH better than my other cheaper lenses.

Cool! I like where he's taking off still looking at you.

Thanks everyone. There nothing compared to most of the birds I see posted on this sight. But I have become very interested in birds the last couple months. The more I go out and search for them, the more addicting it is. Its turning into a two-three day a week adventure now. I love a good challenge, and that's exactly what it has become.
