That's really a beautiful bird and a wonderful photo. As I've said before, your bird photos are really inspiring to me. I've got a hummingbird bush in my yard and maybe this summer I'll make the effort to stake it out and see if I can get some photos. I appreciate that you share your technical details. That's huge for photographers like me who don't normally take bird photos. The 500mm lens will be a problem, though
