    Red Tail

    Went with my mom to the nature center today. Spotted this guy, probably hunting the squirrels.

    Thanks Scott, Paul.

    Paul, the first three are cropped in, but the last two are only a very slight crop (more for composition than to zoom). We were practically next to him when I saw him, got a few shots before he took off and went to ground, but missed whatever he was hunting, then took off and perched on the tree in the first three shots of the series.

    That's a great series of shots. Sounds like it was your lucky day. I've come close a couple times but something always happens and I blow the shot. Some day...
