    Red kites?

OK I know the one on the fence is a Red Kite.
Then I took a shot of the field a while later, to see if I could spot what the two birds on the ground were.
I think it's another couple of kites !

    Re: Red kites?

Thanks, I may rent a Bigma one weekend and try to get more shots.

I've marked this spot in my GPS
These are just out of the car window with the (relatively cheap) 40-200 Panasonc mft.
I'm sure I can do better ... maybe even lug the 1D out there with the 300 2.8

I compared those two to shots of the known kite when he pounced on something in the grass, and the appearance of the breast is the same - so I'm pretty sure there were 3 at that spot.
