5, Figures I am no threat...back to relaxing and enjoying the sunset!

    6.

    7. Catching some sunset rays!!

    8. Found a small snack...

    9. Back to sleep in the field....Fox power nap i guess!

Nice series. Always love to see foxes. The third one is a really nice full body shot. - TF

Awwww! So CUTE! He/she really looks comfortable with you. What a great opportunity. I have not even seen one here. I just adore the last shot for some reason. Thank you for posting these!

How do you do it? Do you raise these critters yourself? If I got within 200 yards of a fox, it wouldn't stick around. You are one with nature.

Marveous series, shows that you understand animals, and really take your time in order to prevent spooking them. Very, very good work.

Thanks to all of you for the comments. yes patience i have learned is all it takes. You would not believe how much time I spend sneaking, hiding and crawling on the ground. If you ease in little by little the animals don't seem as nervous. And when I am done with the photos I sneak back the same way as not to spoke them as I leave.

    Happy Turkey Day to all!

Eric, these pictures are absolutely beautiful and so is the Red Fox. I truly enjoyed them and will be back for more "viewings". I had to trap some feral cats that had taken up residence in my large backyard and a Gray Fox got in the trap. It was also a beautiful fox and had the cutest little face just like your Red Fox. I loved it! It made me so sick to see it in the trap that I didn't even get my camera. It was quickly released.

Wonderful photo's, number 4 is terrific.

You must give me some tips on sneaking up on things. I am still waiting to get a photo of my first fox, they have normally disappeared by the time I get the camera ready.
