    Red Eye

I have a feeling that wood ducks are not easy to find. Where do they hang out usually?

    In the woods

In my parts, I've only found a few pairs just last year. I hope they will return to the same nesting areas so that I can be ready for them this year. But the ones I saw were walking through the forest floor on barely visible trails leading to a pond.

Very nice image. I keep looking for wood ducks but like you said they are hard to find.
