    Random things...

Just some random things I saw today. There was a hawk, but I don't like the "hand of man" element. Anyway..

    Green tree frog (i think)
Another type of tree frog (?, maybe same as other)
5 line skink (male red face is a breeding thing)
Some kind of bird thing (it was itsy bitsy)
Squash bug? Stink bug? Shield bug? All look about the same...

Good stuff. Those skinks are everywhere right now. I saw 4-5 the last time I hiked. You remind me to post one.

That bird is a blue-grey gnatcatcher. These are some great images and the first(both are) green treefrog is my favorite.

    Payn,

These are all terrific. I love the first frog photo and the bug is scary.

Fantastic Fotos, Payn. I wish I had your woodcraft skills for finding the local critters and sneaking up on them for great shots like these.

    Re: Random things...

Thanks Roger, it was scaryI ran away screaming twice when it flew at me.

Lionheart, we honestly have no skill just luck. We'll be walking along and one of us will yell "Fwaggy" (yes that's how it sounds) when we see a frog and just start snapping. Just imagine a couple giddy teen girls shooting wildlife... that's us.

I'm really manly when alone though...lol
