    Ptilotus Flower

    Hi everyone This is my first post to this forum.

    Here is an unusual flower a took a few months ago at Rokewood in Western Victoria.
    Usually more common in desert regions. It is called "ptilotus"

    What a cool looking flower! You did good job at showing the fine detail in it, but more DOF would be nice to see also.

    More DOF! I would of loved that if it was possible, but at f45 that was as far as I could go with that lens.

    What gear were you using anyway? I am not a macro shooter per say, but have been known to shoot with a 500D close up on my 100-400 with a few worth keeping here and there

    Nice shot. This was done on film? (EXIF says it was scanned with a Fuji Film SP2000 scanner.)
