    Praying (preying) Mantis

I took this photo of a "captive" mantis in a makeshift home studio. Nikon D70 with a Tamron 24-70mm zoom and a homemade extension tube made from a discarded teleconverter, Light was an SB600 in a softbox. Everything set to manual. What do you think?

DOF is a bit shallow and the colors seem washed out Otherwise not bad.

I think it is good. Little too much leaf for me and too hot on the face, though.
