Plant growing on a post

High everyone - I saw this while out on the boat - it's growing just below the doc right on the high water mark looking at the waterline on the posts.

I tried to take a better photo but this was at 14:00 or so and when I came back in the evening I couldn't get to it because of the tide. No flowers except the dead ones looked like daisy - some white petals and yellow centres.
