I found out they are called Oleander.

Wazzap, Almo? Did you note in your research that they are poisonous? As a result, they attract a particular moth called the Oleander Wasp Moth that has caterpillars that can feed on the leaves without dying. Predators like birds seem to know it and leave the caterpillars alone.
