    A Picnic

So I snuck aboard my 5D/300mm along with a fanny pack containing my 2xTC and extension tubes. Left my trusty monopod as I figured that would be too obvious

After getting the kids fed and set up for fishing, I managed to get some shots in. The sunset was extremely warm (color-wise) and coming fast. These shots are literally during my retreat away from the approaching shade of the far bank.

The first two with the 300mm + 2x combo
The second two with the 300mm + all three extension tubes
The last one with the 300mm and a 36mm tube

No support and a slight breeze made it tough to get really sharp images.

Loupey - Wonderful colours in these images, and they all look good and sharp to me. I love that face in #3 and that lovely fat caterpillar in #5.

AE & Cassie - thank you both for the feedback.

My favorite is #3 - tried to make use of the hot leaf in the background - came out like a curtain/spotlight and added some much needed depth.
