    photo-hike

Finally made it out for some hiking and photography. Its been few and far between this summer, and felt good to finally have a day off and get outside.

heres a few from one of the few (very small) natural prairies in pennsylvania. unfortunately no massassagua rattlesnakes this trip.

and my favorite from the day, shot with natural lighting (only one of these was with a flash)

    Thanks guys.

i'll add these are straight out of camera to.... i haven't had an editing program for a while (except the 1 month free trial of elements). so none are even cropped.... although i think the butterfly one would benefit alot from a crop.

    Re: photo-hike

    thanks everyone,

loupey the third from the bottom is the only one i used flash on, i love how easy the wireless flash system works... press a few buttons then i can just set the flash on the ground pointing toward the subject and blam :-)

Paul, ive been looking for it for a while, its hard though cause its a special area i don't want to break their rules (go off trail in the prairie area, or be flipping all the cover objects and destroying habitat etc)
