    Pelican or maybe a subspecies?

A pair of these birds showed up this week. I think it’s a pelican.

Yes, that's an American white pelican; Pelecanus erythrorhynchos. The bump on the beak appears during mating season.

    Thanks Trailwalker and Paul.
That bump on the beak was throwing me when I googled for pelicans.

It's shown on whatbird.com - which itself is a problem because seeing it outside the mating season I'd be surprised by the lack of that bump.
