    Palm Warbler

I think these are just simple Butterbutt Warblers, but they look different to me. Is it just the time of season? Or are they something else? markings around the eyes, and the fact that the whole rear end is yellowish is what's odd to me. These are all different birds, so that's what's throwing me off (otherwise, I'd just dismiss it as a juvi or something). Can you confirm? Thanks. I don't pursure Warblers like so many others do down here (I'm more of a water bird and bird of prey guy), so I'm not too in tune with their seasonal colorations. Hard little buggers to photograph, though!

*****Note - I have since ID'd this as a Palm Warbler*****

I was able to ID this as a Palm Warbler. May be the first time I've ever photographed them (although they are fairly common here)!

That is indeed a typical palm warbler winter plumage you captured. The easiest ID marker is the pumping tail while bouncing around. I think there must have ADHD or something

Nice set, Bob. Palm Warblers are all over Brevard County right now. They don't stay in one spot very long, so the chalange of getting a shot can be a lot of fun.
