    Painted Buntings

    Today a pair of Painted Buntings showed up in my back yard. I assume that they are in the process of migrating back north, but with any luck they will stick around for a couple of days.

    The males are CRAZY looking! Crazy-color-cool that is. Just awesome. If I saw one of these in my backyard I'd flip out.
