    ZZ Top

ZZ Top in the wild (didn't mean to post two versions but looks like no way I could remove them or either one of them)

    Thanks!

I had thought about posting it under the ID thread. Apparently pualnj had no difficult id'ing it.

At first it was like this:

    Name: ZZ-Top---profile.jpg
Views: 88
Size: 169.7 KB

Don't know if it actually heard my camera (I think I was more than 50 ft away from it) and so it turned facing me.

I can ID birds pretty well

Have you read my profile? Click my name in the forum header... outdated a few as I am 36 now and went back to treework I spent 3 years birding nearly everyday and worked nights for 18 months of it:mad2:

    Re: ZZ Top

AgingEyes, it took me awhile to figure out what it was - very interesting. Can you tell us when this was taken and in what part of the country. I only ever see these in early Spring as they migrate through the western Prairies?

    Cheers,
