Osprey pair

I've heard several people speak of seeing some ospreys out at the state park I regularly visit, but I'd never encountered them myself until yesterday. One of them was screeching constantly, so all I had to do was follow the sound!



Screecher flew off...


They've built a rather nice nest in the channel marker!


Screecher's absence left Fishclaw checking me out.




Fishclaw headed out, keeping dinner handy.


Didn't drop the fish!


And joined by Screecher


I used the video mode of my camera to record Screecher's calling. That was constant the entire hour I was in this part of the park, never stopped!

Nice set.....looks like you found some Juveniles by the look of the color of the eyes and the whites on the feathers.
