    Osprey with a Fish Stick????

    Found a spot were this Osprey fly's by on a regular bases. Not sure what kind of Fish that is...maybe some sort Pike (not a fish expert)

    Terrific catch for both you and the osprey!

    Fish looks too long to be any freshwater species (with the exception of a gar - but the tail looks wrong). I'd say some kind of saltwater pipefish or other.

    Photo taken by the Lake inland...45 miles in from the beach. He snagged it from the lake I am sure. Gar?

    Another series of excellent shots from you. I always look forward to your bird photos. They inspire me to keep trying... and save up for better equipment. What lens and body do you shoot with for shots like this? Thanks for the post.

    Awesome shots as usual I have been a avid fisherman for 30 years both salt and fresh that looks like a needle fish, Gar are alot thicker

    Well, that could be any sort of tropical fish, since FL is known to have released non native fish living in it's ponds. I once caught an oscar in tampa . lol

    Thanks for the info. Pricey lens but you can sure see the quality of it in your photos. You get what you pay for, and your pics are proof posotive.

    I use to buy EagleClaw fishing hooks, after seeing these guys fish I should have been buying Osprey hook, haha
