    Orange Dragonfly?

I haven't had a lot of time to get out and about to shoot any nature, but thank goodness my backyard is teeming with all sorts of neat things. These 2 shots are the best "bug" pics that I've taken to date. I can never seem to get close enough to get good shots, but this guy was more than willing to let me get within a few feet (had a zoom lens on so couldn't get closer, anyway) and get some good shots.
It is also the first time I've ever seen an orange dragonfly. I've seen blues and grays, but it's my first orange. haha. Hope you like.

Nice job Ken. You did a great job working in close without a macro. My son tells me its been pretty warm down you way. Makes it a little ruff getting out to do nature stuff.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: Orange Dragonfly?

    Thanx Knight, appreciate the info.

Hi OT...Yeah, it's been pretty warm down here, especially compared to Wisconsin..haha...it's been real strange weather all spring...lots of rain storms and changing weather from week to week. Thanx for the comments. Look forward to your next trip out here so I can get a chance to meet up with you.
