    One of my farvorite subjects

On Saturday a friend told me about a fox den that he knew about. On Sunday, I spent 3 1/2 hours watching a den that I had found, but I got skunked. So this morning I went to the den my friend told me about and spent another 3 1/2 hours. This den was much more active, and much easier to get a clean shot. This den is in a rock cut, along a state highway. I just parked in the ditch, and sat and waited.

"I thought that because fewer wolves meant more deer, that no wolves would mean hunters' paradise. But after seeing the green fire die, I sensed that neither the wolf nor the mountain agreed with such a view."
