One less Dove

I have 3 nesting pairs of Doves living in my backyard.
This hawk caught one this morning. He flew off before dining.

The dove was perched on the powerline.
Can't believe the dove did not see him coming.
It was one of the adults.
When they're not in the nest they seem to perch on the powerline a lot.

I did have some very nice light this morning.
It really added a warm glow to the shot. No special effects were added in PP.

looks to be a young sharpshinned hawk, but not positive.
