GEORGE THE BALD EAGLE IS STILL HERE! IN ILLINOIS! IN THE SUMMER! Sorry... I'm a wee bit excited. I'm thinking this only means one thing. He and Marge have a family and are waiting for the juvi's to get big enough to make the trip back up north. Why else? Does anyone know? This IS weird... right?

Anyway... I was making my usual rounds at the barge terminal and started to walk out on the barge dock when something caught my eye to my left, diving out of a tree... large... dark brown...white tail... WHOLLY $!#%! I think I froze in awe for one second before I remembered I had a camera... lol. SHOOT SHOOT!! No time for corrections or metering, so basically these are just for proof I saw what I saw.
