    Oh deer !!

    Don't laugh, but I've never seen deers in a natural environment before, like just me and the deers alone. First time this morning.

    These are great shots of deer in the wild. I am out there a lot "in the wild" and have nothing close to these. Thanks for sharing!

    Congrats on your first wild deer siting. These are very nice. I love that first shot of the buck about to eat the berries. How close were you?

    30 to 50 ft, I think. These are cropped shots. At first I saw the female and had no idea the male was around until it came out from the bush. I don't know about their behavior - especially the male one - and so I did not want to get too close. They saw me though but perhaps feeding their stomach was more important and so most of the time they ignored me. Eventually they did get into the bush on the other side of the trail.

    Yeah, the bucks will about always follow...want to watch to see if the does get shot, I guess.
