A happy squirrel having some dinner. I'm a little surprised he let me jam a 70-300 right in his face (3-4ft) without heading further up the tree.

He/she sure was posing for the camera, Iove the tight crops and squirrel-eye-level views an all of them. That last one is particularily adorable.

Thanks for all the comments. I know it's just a half tame rodent, and the degree of difficulty is next to nil, but it was a lot of fun getting in that close
