Fished this little mama out of the pool and noticed her back looked bumpy. Upon further review this is what I saw. The little 'uns are truly tiny - like no-see-um gnats.

I fished mama out and she was still alive. I could just barely see the babies moving with my naked eye. Mama stopped moving and then the babies were everywhere some going quite far way from mama. I think she died, but I didn't want to poke her or something and interfere with the babies. So yes, they were alive.
